One-of-a-kind countryside estate located in the region of Medellin del Faro only 3 minutes’ drive from the town of Jose Ignacio. Designed by renowned architect Martin Gomez, this house is built in 5 hectares of land with a total of 480 meters of noble materials such as local grey stone, “Lapacho” wood and concrete. The surrounding countryside landscape includes views of forests and lakes with small wooden bridges along rolling hills. The house is designed in one only level. The entrance leads to a spacious living room integrated with dining room and bar. The fully equipped kitchen is connected to the social premises but also offers a convenient entrance to service quarters and laundry room. A corridor leads to the four suites, two of which have king size beds while the remaining have two twin beds each. However, the bedding configuration can be adjusted to guests’ needs. All four suites have independent access to the pool deck. Floor-to-ceiling glass windows connect the house to the garden. Summer days in the region are ideal for a splashdown in the swimming pool followed by long “asados” organized in the barbecue area, which includes an alfresco pergola and dining table. Jose Ignacio is a small fishing village that offers a great diversity of experiences for families and couples. From horseback riding, to hiking, biking, surfing and kitesurfing all combined with top-notch gastronomy and amazing beaches. It is a region where you will need to move around either with a rented car or a driver service – this house is a perfect option to enjoy all this diversity of activities and restaurants and then come back to a paradise of relaxing nature to recover only to continue the fun during the evening!
